I am not dismissing your comment at all and I do agree with you.

The manga doesn't say anything about people running away or leaving country because of this but, in a real world scenario if something like this happened would you run? I know I probably would and so would a lot of other people, just because something isn't mentioned in a story doesn't mean that it won't happen or that it didn't.

Sometimes it's all about filling in the gaps of logic with what you believe to be right, something I'm learning a lot about right now as I translate, it's like a puzzle that you complete and then make the puzzle more complete afterwards.

Yes most likely but I realized that later and didn't want to go back and change it all right away, doesn't make much if a difference as it's not continuing. Maybe someday I'll go back and fix it but idk
