If you kill just the head honcho, it's only a matter of time before the replacement or one of their entourage tries to manipulate you into doing their bidding. If you wipe out the entire organization indiscriminately, the next group to take over knows that if one element messes with you, everyone dies so they'll make sure to police themselves.
I was thinking the guy who advised her, that hefty noble, is working for the other nations and pushing the King to destroy himself so the empire's army has less to fight against.plot twist: what if it was king plan whole time, getting nation ruined, maybe he was working for other nation and faster way to bring down nation is pissed off someone powerful

I presume you mean the Empire will frame the Kingdom, as she serves the Kingdom at her leisure. But that would be a clever tactic.

And she could've gotten a clearer warning too. Like, "I saw a very dangerous monster on the way to the capital" or a plague or something.

Doesn't look like the former king was a great parent anyways. Didn't even care enough to educate his inheriting son about the nature of the relationship with her. Seems like all he was told was that they had a powerful vampire vassal that could be used in case of emergencies.
Handled well, they're extremely useful tools for character and world building. Handled poorly, they're really pointless filler.
This wasn't handled well, but wasn't handled poorly either. It wasn't long enough to make us care, but it also was still enough to give us an idea of her trauma of losing people close to her because of her mistakes.

Yeah this happens when you don't remember your history.
Kinda extremely dumb that his ancestors didn't leave good enough records...or probably wiped out...heh that's the problem with human memory if not recorded it usually only last 1 or 2 generations. Sure you have oral history but that's usually very untrust worthy.

Ikr, I'm expecting much from the old man, turns out his idea was only to send S rank adventurers to capture her.
That's on the prince's level of idea imo.
