Man I love these two, they take it naturally. Adults people actually do adults thing haha maybe because I'm hitting 30s I feel naturally more related to these kinds of story (never dated anyone tho haha)

You really have to figure everything out.

Remind me of a story about a woman giving birth for the first time and realising that's it? I am a mother now and I have to take care of a baby? A human being?

I feel like this is one of the rare manga that is more grounded.

I really really love it.

The closest thing I can think of is Accept My Fist of Love! It's a yuri manga but kind similar on the aspect of two adults firguing out how the whole dating thing could work

Hm, this chapter makes you think just what is the right amount of dates before entering a relationship. 3 - 4 seems too little if you ask me
As a working adult 3-4 seems perfect to me. It could take a month or two months to do 4 dates, depending on if you're seeing them once a week or once every other week. If you can't figure out your feelings enough to decide if you want to start a relationship at that point, I don't think it's likely in the first place. It's not shown in the manga but obviously in between dates there should be communication between each person, it's not like a date is the only time you would be talking to your potential partner to figure out whether you like them enough or not. Him asking for 5 more dates on top of the dates they've already had is pretty flaky as a person, but if he conveys how serious he is as a person (like saying that him dating someone is basically the same as him committing to marriage) then it could pass but luckily for him she seems accepting enough to give him the time to figure it out even though she already seems willing to start a relationship.

Genuinely sorry. Really appreciate what you’re doing. Loved this series so much I binged the raws 😅 I’ll definitely make sure not to spoil again. Thank you again for your hard work!! 🙏
Where do you read the raws? Do you buy the chapters individually? Or the ganma app?

I think it may be a bit different for the two of them, as people. Neither of them are sure at this point and I think it's got to do with their personalities and not being close to people so often. In her case, she wasnt sure when she started thinking about it after overhearing some people talking about confessions (it hadnt really even crossed her mind that this was the norm until then) and her conclusion was "I want to get to know him more." Here we see pretty much the same conclusion from him.

I honestly dont think that they need a confession to continue having whatever theyre having now. Even if they label it as a relationship, it feels unlikely that they would change the way they act. They would still be going on these dates and trying to figure each other out for some time before even considering getting physical (even a hug).

So, in his case, I think he is mainly putting the confession off not because he is unsure about her, but because he is uncomfortable with the act of confessing to her. Which, tbf, is kinda nerve-racking, since it's a more formal thing in Japan.

That's true on someone looking casual or serious. Regardless if the person is a working adult or not; I think that the gap of seeing this person on dates such as the time seeing them will clear out whatever feelings one has.

what is the significance of taking the tissue that he's bothered by it?
She mentions on a prior date she has a bad habit of always taking tissues and has a drawer full of them at home. She told him she’d rather not have any more tissues since she has so many already.

I remember in a previous chapter when she overheard her coworkers talking about how a guy confessed to her on the first date and how she turned him down since she didn’t feel like getting to know him more. So you’re right, it seems a bit flaky to want to wait for 5 more dates but it shows how serious he is about getting to know someone before becoming official. He’s definitely not a “on a whim” kind of dude. Although they both did admit they signed up for the dating app out of desperation.

I definitely recommend the manga Her Relationship with Him.
It’s a slow burn about two high schoolers giving dating a shot despite not knowing eachother. It’s very cute and sweet but not as awkward and funny as this series.
