Yea, those are basically flying cats/puppies. I would think I wanna live in a world like this but I would imagine that this universe also has dog sized spiders and scorpions that prey on the giant insects.

Whenever you see this fx, it's just 'mosu' (moth), so the moth's sfx is 'moth'.

This is also very close to 'mofu', 'fluffy', which I think is kind of a deliberate pun. Kind of like 'mofluff'.
