A weak story with a protagonist slightly like Heroine Survival. I suggest reading that manga or its many translated LN volumes before scavenging this one. (Not that the Heroine Survival WN/LN doesn't have its own major flaws that gross me out, but even so)

Assassin-Daughter may only be a few chapters in (3.2), but it's a lurching story with paper-thin personalities and art that's just kinda there. The premise is interesting but ... it sounds like it doesn't set up anything unique. The execution (ha) is lazy and fast-paced: Be unloved. Die. Be overpowered and tiny. Creep everyone out and be unloved, except by an absent parent. Maintain a murder addtiction and creep folks out. No goals. Next is learning to be a master and then a school setting, probably.

This dead-eyed lead reminds me of Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyou Survival, and those tropes may string me along another chapter or two, but I'm not optimistic this will improve. It's Fine for now, while I can call it setup. I'll call it genuinely Bad or worse when it starts wasting my time. I'll lighten up if it gets creative for ten minutes, and rate it down if it doesn't.

Lazy, boring, predictable, trite nothing. It's like all the worst parts of "emotionless protag doesn't fit in with the world" and "isekai'd as a villainess" stories had a baby and it's every bit as boring and plain. The assassination stuff is so flat and boring that it's uninteresting. And the isekai villainess stuff is so bland and uninspired that it doesn't give you anything you haven't seen in other, better manga.

I guess you could do worse than reading this, but there's no reason not to look for better.

Honestly the story doesnt add up, if there are assassins, why arent the nobles have any bodyguards? Like other than wimpy maids whose purpose are only scream, run and do chores? And of course you wouldnt find any weapons other than kitchen knifes in a house, also the art is pretty childish. I can already predict how the story will go, the assassin girl will find a guy who constantly try to make her fall for him and finally they both fall in love with eachother then flower effects will start showing around her.

Trash isekai, trash art, trash this and that but like I don't give a shit, I honestly waste my time reading things like this bc I have nothing better to do. Sure I could learn a new things at wwww learnewthings com or god forbid call my friends to hangout for smoke and getting wasted at 4 am monday but I prefer being alone reading trash.

Having read upto the latest LN5 of Otome saikyou survival, the only thing thats entertaining and keeps you interested is the survival part and some funny dense interactions she has with other guys or adults. The rest of the plot is just paper thin and too contrived. Her conviction for survival is really good, rest of the motives is just plain childrens writing posed as serious novel bs.

What is it with sociopathic heroines? Is there some sort of readership that goes "oooohhh look at the spree killer with no morality sipping tea in an adorable regency era dress!"

Although it was pretty adorable.

Also f**k me but has she just adopted a child? And has her boss just given her permission to adopt said child?
WHY? Anyone with two functioning brain cells would NEVER put this girl in a carer position. Even her own mother is terrified of her and now she's overseeing the mental health of a child??

Who's the author of this series? Ted Bundy???

Writing is very weak, art is crude, idk tho I'm kinda low on daily isekai dose. Among the gajillions of isekai stories this is easily a 7,5.

Dunno what the author was smoking when they wrote this thing.
The MC literally learnt nothing, neither did they try. Went straight into being a hired dagger at the age of 7+-, without much questioning or problems by her boss. Just slid right back in there.
What was the point of reincarnating anyway?

What a weird story.

it's such a weird unpleasant read. We are supposed to cheer the murderer reborn as a child noble, who got back to murdering as soon as someone asked her to (not like she needed money or anything), against a literal child, an orphan whose dog MC tried to kill at the first occasion, but manga says it's cool because said orphan had less bad childhood than MC in her previous life and also this orphan is sorta annoying.
And we are supposed to feel bad for MC because her mom is scared of her? Dang, her innocent child was replaced by some sociopath murder hobo who doesn't even want to interact with her mother, but it's the MC who is pitiful, eh?

It would even be an okay premise if the writing wasn't so bad and lazy.

The protag is just edge for the sake of being edge. Doesn't even try reevaluate her new role in life once she's reborn.
Somehow we're supposed to root for a protag who kills kids for money? That's not how you make a setting for an anti-hero.
