Yeah I'm almost sure by now of my little theory about the title of the story:
The title is just there as reassurance to the readers that she does eventually get married and leave the life of prostitution.
But in reality the title is not actually that relevant to what you see in the progress of the story.
The real narrative focus of the story is basically a sports manga, but with a prostitution themed reskin.
The story has a lot of the tropes associated with the sports manga genre; competitions for rankings, douchy elite rivals, training arcs, protag is a special skilled chosen one of said sports, etc.

Holy shit, you're right... it is a sports manga! Even the part where the owner is talking about how they get the girls youth, it's the same thing with coaches and athletes - coaches know that athletes have that shelf-life built in, and that because of such sports are exploitative of athletes who leave their health and youth on that field. Not any different for the soap girls who at the end of this process will have to live with the long term consequences. I can totally see it now.
On a side note, I feel bad for An if she an Ken broke up. All An did was stick by her friend.

Good observation. I think the protag leans more towards the "doesn't ever give up and perseveres" type than the talented stereotype, but it's still a mainstay trope of sports manga either way.

It's only been three years since she last saw the old manager so I guess her degree was only for two years? That means it's only been a year or so, maybe less, since she got exposed at school.
Some of the convo here was confusing. I think maybe her friend was thanking her for her encouragement, and is planning on continuing in University. 👐

Wait a sec, now that the Raphael arc's over, what ever happened to the strict teacher lady? Didn't she also do some kind of work for Raphael (unless it was a side school)? I feel like she just completely disappeared after the training arc, it's a bit surprising that I don't think she even showed up for a bit part since then.
With how the title's about how she "became a rich wife", I'm assuming it'll be after Kakeru has a chance to enter a career + become independently wealthy. It would be kind of strange if they got together now, Kakeru started making a lot of money, and Honoka was like "alright it's fine and all that you make enough money to support us and I don't need to be a prostitute, but I really wanna beat Maria". So I figure they'll get together once Honoka becomes high-status + they meet at some classy event or something.

Just Googled what degree that only took 2 years, and it's apparently an Associate Degree, so I'm guessing it's that. But i don't know what that is since i rarely heard of it here in my own country..

Phew, thank god she remembered that one reason she wanted to remain in the sex industry. A few chapters ago, she could project herself in the future with Kakeru, how he'd be hurt, but she can't even spare a second to think about what she'd do after she pays back that one prostitute who doesn't even remember her. To society, no matter how much money she makes, or how much designer stuff she wears, a high class prostitute will always remain just that: a prostitute.
