The actual maker and fireworks master is a Salamander who is a master glassmaker. If MC specifically requests that the effect is to be completely harmless, let the glass disintegrate or turn into powder, and adjust firepower so that dissipates in midair above the highest rooftop, I'm sure he'd comply. He wants his work to be appreciated, so his artistic sense and excitement for the idea, wouldn't allow for anything else less spectacular. If he caused harm because of thoughtlessness, it's a sure way to drive away admirers and draw ire instead.
