She knew that the MC was OP and essentially saved her ass, but in the end, burned the proof that he was the one that killed the general and essentially kicked him out the house. If she wasn't already an evil cow that hated and looked down on her own son, this made her far more detestable.

@dokidoki I'm still kind of confused about that because in ch1, she calls his skill incomprehensible and all the paper says is "A caliber of Godly level Accomplished - Proof of Completion. This soul will not grow any further". I get that it refers to the fact that he's the strongest ever, period, but the way she talks about it makes it seem like she doesn't really understand what it means.

just remember kids, this woman, his teacher, the one saying soma doesn't have any skills at all, is the one who did the skill appraisal and wrote down on the paper soma's mother had read in ch1 that he has the calibre of godly level. And IIRC that's originally an error by the novel author.

And tbf, soma's mother is pitiful. Pathetic for being so weak, but in the end very pitiful.

Well, this is about the place I had stopped reading the novel because it was such a drag. It went on an on, never getting anywhere, just so sloooooooow. The manga at least fixes that part.

This guy is from a Duke family, restrictions my ass. In a feudal system Dukes have more than enough power to defy Royalty, especially a guy with an appraisal result "a being of godly calibre". Shine the most as what? As an adventurer? No matter what he does and where he aims to go if he doesnt plan on slaughtering everyone who isnt sharing his oppinion he will enter high society and start doing politics. The mother doesnt know a damn thing about the mc like we do. Throwing her own kid out of the house severing all ties, telling his own sister he doesnt exist? What a loving mother, it couldnt be more cruel and harsher right? Trying to hide his avhievements only works when hes home and he is not even trying to hide it. Yeah after being found out he will have to face all the troubles the mother feared he would have to go through witout having a family backing him up. Coming to his aid after realizing it still happened? My reply would be: Who are you, i dont know you. Piss off or you are my enemy as well. Aint having enough mercy to openly welcome the family who kicked me out. Keep in mind the mother doesnt know that hes an adult. The whole story is just happy go lucky, im op i do whatever i want while trying to keep the plot going with some kind of logical reasoning which doesnt make sense in real life

The end of the only good arc in this series. The webnovel is utter trash and poorly written. At least the translation for the manga is a different group from the WN and is readable.
Whoever picked up the webnovel looked like they picked up an outdated MTL and fixed a word or two and called it edited.

its like think of in our world if someone was born with the power of a nuke.....pretty sure his life would be horrible lol
