It was entertaining enough until the tournament arc IMO, which as usual is the death knell of most stories. Just bloated the cast list even more with people who aren't interesting when there barely was screentime enough as it was for minor characters.

By common I mean around 2000's leading to 2010's time frame. The 80's were a different beast.

Often in MMOs, clan PvP is very different compared to singles or even small teams

E.g. Osrs 1v1s is constant switches but clanning is all about catching the other clan in barrage clumps, scim callouts into stacks and defensively probably the hardest tank test in the game. Loadouts are different, with singles you can go full max but clans often go cheap sets for mass numbers
