This post says a lot more about you than the author. First: The story is based on a novel, with this chapter having been released before October 2023. Second: I can't really say that I have seen Krav Maga used in manga at all. Third: What does the political climate have to do with any of this?

To explain for those that aren't quite getting it, Krav Maga is a fighting style developed for use by the IDF (that is, israel's military). For a while it was promoted as a badass no-frills fighting style, which is why it became kind of popular to use in media (that's the propaganda bit at work), but given recent developments have shown the actual quality of the IDF's soldiers to be kind of questionable (to put it mildly), the meme has turned around on itself.

Making fun of it is valid, but also commenters here are being too reddit brained. Consider context, people. Obviously the author didn't really know the details when this was written, it was just another "serious fighting style for serious men" kinda thing.
