maybe it's because all these old method are skill based (some would failed it and die), while the modern methods focus more on efficiency and safetyI like it, but I feel like I have to suspend my disbelief a bit much, that all of these totally normal techniques were completely lost in time, because all old explorers seemingly vanished to a different dimension without ever sharing anything.
Ok they moved the age from middle aged to senior year in age....Seems promising
"I didn't even have time to think! "Damn that was so sad when the goblin saw his friend's corpse then remembering of all the good time they had together before he gets murdered by that random bald old guy. RIP.
Gramps got it.Unc still got it
"chasing the buzz" is just a variation on "chasing the high" or "chasing the dragon" which you might be more familiar with.Gang am I too old or too young, but what is the 'buzz' from the title mean?
It seems like they each came up with their own tactics, and likely the safer team-based ones stuck around.I find it unlikely that common knowledge from only 40 years ago would just be forgotten like that. Did nobody write it down? Did no one ever take on an apprentice? Are there no history content creators researching the old way of doing things just for fun?
Sure, you can make an analogy to how people don't know how to do things like write in cursive or fix a computer today due to changes in technology but these techniques are still extremely effective. There's no way people would stop using these techniques just because they started hunting in parties.
