Why did the author even introduce this shitty Demon God if it gets blasted into oblivion in one half assed strike

So the only logical reason I can think of as to why the hero one shoted the demon king/god is that it was just revived…

In most story’s a “just” revived thing has no where near their max power that they usually would have.

So in comes the hero who fought 1v1 with a fully powered demon king/god and won with seemingly much difficulty (ie it’s literally the plot of the story as the battle was so close that the “hero’s party” thought that said hero was dead and then they pulled their s**t) then yeah a super weak version of the same thing would be a easy!

Or the author didn’t care and just wanted to show off again how op the hero is….

"Clergy-person"..... shudder...
Just "(the) Clergy" would have worked quite fine there, and would have saved 7 characters in spacing the bubble on two occasions.. Space matters..

( yes, nitpicking because the "Plot".... errrmm... yeah....)
I was hesitating whether to add -person or just the clergy... and I chose the former:lol:

I kind of love how ridiculous the pacing is. This series feels like a 'betrayed by party' shitpost
I know other series do this premise better, but I thought this one had potential. Did the author just give up trying to match them and threw pacing out the window?

Hahaha MC really wants to return and 'live peacefully' and not having anything to do with any shounen BS when he can just off the big boss like that. (I am guessing it was great timing the evil god is still resurrecting and MC's power is more than enough to finish the job).

Well that was...quick.
That's what she said.

I read the WN, he doesn't die like this in that.
The manga is going off in uncharted direction.

In the WN, his resolution is equally abrupt -- but then again, so are everyone else's. The WN is "one arc of Deus Ex Machina, followed by rambling chapters about international politics with no story arc". Just look at the chapter arc grouping titles.

In the WN, this knight dude is awarded a harem of maids and a mansion by the king. But he was a piece of shit before this, and he and his gang had sexually assaulted a neighborhood girl. Either leading to her death, or suicide later from it.

Fast forward to deus ex machina speedrun, and the reveal is the maids are demons and succubi. The leader of which was the demon born from said girl. They pin him down to his bed before slaughtering him, leaving a human-shaped bloodstain. And the mansion becomes a haunted house.

...that's it. That's the WN's resolution for this. It was fairly dumb and contrived, despite the promising premise at Chapter 1 of the goddess siding with the abandoned hero due to political intrigue. Same level of deus ex machina for the saintess too. I'm guessing the manga authors didn't want to touch on the sexual assault sub-plot, so simply made him get eaten by 1-shot demon lord here.

Literally turning it into a Power Rangers spoof.

the saintess is the former party member that's engaded to the prince.
the holy queen is the one helping in the coup
right, the first guy was confused, because the saintess isn't even in this chapter.

This is satire at this point. Certain elements are starting to feel like One Punch Man.

Behold the world's first manga written by a poorly trained AI. Because I have a hard time believing that a human could produce this rickety nonsense on purpose and think they're doing a good job.

this was... extremely boring and anti-climactic..
"this seems like a level beyond the demon lord", and yet Noel didn't end up into the future this time around

I feel like at this point in the story the author is just over it 😂
I remember some comments about the web novel for this and how the mc is so op that even gods probably couldn't beat him, and how the story moves really fast, so it's probably just the way the story is.

This is the worst way I've seen a primary character be dealt with. Implications of the bad guy and MC getting a face-to-face confrontation (esp. after their last meeting), only for the guy to get eaten by a "god" that appeared from no where because of the actions of someone that also appeared from nowhere despite having such a plot-pivotal thing tied to them. Then said "god" gets one-shot by the MC within 4 pages of the MC appearing.

Very little displays of strength to explain and set in how bad and powerful this "god" is. Incredibly anti-climactic ending to a one of the bad guys. The main points of this current set of chapters should have been "There's a rebellion happening" and "the bad guys are approaching the MC". Instead we have "BTW there's a rebellion" and "BTW the bad guys are kinda in the same vicinity of the MC".

At this point, the MC is basically a poorly done insta-win button, a main plot character was unceremoniously killed by something that only lived for 14 pages, the rebellion has gone from "it's happening" to "it's fucked" to "it's still happening" with almost little to talk about it or explain what's going on, and so on.

At this point I'm not even sure what the author wants from this series. Is it a story about the MC? Are the characters immediately around the MC the focus? Is it a story about the kingdom? The rebellion? What the hell is the point of this story? It's like someone took genuinely good ideas from other stories and mashed them together without understanding why they were good ideas and didn't bother even thinking about it.

If it wasn't for my policy of "don't rate a series until it's complete", I'd be giving this a 4/10. It's just bad so far.
