In any other manga, I'd say that Gudal was still alive because he wasn't bitten in half, and the evil "god" was killed pretty quickly after eating him. But given the pace this manga's going at, I assume he's just gone for good.

The girl was the one the court mages kicked out of their number to make room for Aina. She was mad at the whole subjugation party, somehow did the spell weave on herself and approached the sword that held the demon god or what have you. Honestly the fact that the girl was explicitly nameless definitely drives home that point, as even her 'compatriots' forgot her name.
at this point I'd rather take a dragon loli than this single page of instant explosion

This is a Demon King level calamity... No! Beyond that!

Oh, wait... Nevermind.

This chapter in a nutshell.

The evil dragon is very unnecessary if its gonne end up one shotted like that. Unless it still has a role later on.

i- i can't even call that a god if it can basically gets one shot
yeah sure the MC is supposed to be all op and shit, but c'mon least give it a few pages where it can fight back.
eh nvm.
Agreed. It was unnecessary, it serves nothing, you can remove that ""evil god"" and changes nothing on the plot. If theres even a plot.

This is exactly why this manga went so down hill. The hero is stupid and bland and gets away with making stupid decisions that could result in exactly what happened here, the harassment of his village. The worst part is that since he got away with making these decisions it become irritating to the reader to just see how stupid the decision was in both short term and long term if it had not all turned out ok. He didn't even lose anyone or anything there wasn't any struggle or hardships he just simply won and that makes it all the much more worse for readers who've seen or experience actual hardships and decision making on building a village/community.

Long story short: This is a fever dream where basically the MC is never really punished for his stupid actions and gets away with it. This is how I see it at this point.

Damn, that was hilarious. World-ending threat destroyed in seconds. Gudal dies with it if he hasn't been digested yet.

See, I knew why Noel didn't give a fuck about politics outside his village. This man is a force of nature that can destroy evil gods in mere seconds. The kingdom's entire army is not enough to threaten him. This writing made the hero OP on the level of gods and stuck to it. No wonder he can afford to stay neutral, he's just powerful enough to do whatever the hell he wants and get away with it. Some people are mad about the lack of consequences or hardships, but those things just don't happen when your main character is basically written to be playing in god mode.

This is bad writing, but at least it's not boring. :pepela:
