Of all the matches in the tournament that were portrayed in full in this manga, Odagiri vs Himeno felt the most contrived to me when it came to how it all played out. The big thing that always bugged me about this particular match was the (lack of) explanation for why Himeno tired out so quickly against Odagiri in the first place. Like sure, Himeno used an aggressive approach that required a lot of energy, but that's just not enough to cut it for me when Hiura
not only utilized a similarly fast-paced strategy against Odagiri, but also nearly took Durand to the distance in a very intense followup match without showing any signs of severe fatigue.
That's without mentioning the fact that this stamina issue never showed up in any of Himeno's previous matches.

To add to my previous comment, I would've kinda got it if the stamina thing was already an established issue beforehand, but not only was Himeno previously shown to be capable of competing in back-to-back matches (and make the distance in one of them), but Shino-sensei even credited all the running/roadwork Himeno did during her 6 months away from the sport for helping her maintain her endurance for her comeback, so having endurance suddenly become her fatal flaw during her last match after previously establishing that endurance isn't a big issue for her, especially when she hadn't participated in any prior matches that round, just doesn't make sense in my eyes.
