Thank you for continuing this, good sir. These vintage manga really hit differently.

Since it so long running, just like his Kochikame manga, its really interesting to see the artstyle and socioeconomic changes in the background. In the early chapters that were drawn in the bubble era, you could see the JST and the Japanese government. throwing money everywhere all over, and that swagger and confidence, the chapters set after the burst, not so much though.

Lol rereading earlier chapters, I totally forgot Jin Clice is actually a cyborg with bulletproof skin and enhanced strength and is supposed to be based on Agnes Lum. The early chapters really have the resemblance down, plus his new identity being Chinese American really seals the deal.

Any chance of you dong his Kochikame work? lol

Oh first time I've heard of Agnes Lum. That said, by the end of chapter 4 she's doesn't seem to have any cybernetic enhancement she got on chapter 2. Chapter 5 onwards seem to portray her as normal human (aside from her sniping and crazy skills). Anyway, glad you enjoyed the release!

Hmm I'm not really digging Akimoto-sensei's other work, though. To me, Mr. Clice is the enjoyable one. So I'm sorry if it's not on the list just yet. Additionally, I'm currently gonna focus solely on this series until it reach latest volume. I mean, even finishing one chapter might take from 2 weeks to more than a month (the total pages of a single chapter from these old mangas are insane, they're double and sometimes triple of nowadays manga), so I better not be distracted to other series first XD.

it's stated that most of the stuff wore off. and I have to agree that the rest of the stuff doesn't look as interesting
