This just popped into my head for some reason... I'm sorryToo bad we already saw that Yume is actually full blown mentally ill, and here we find out that Sakura is actually just desperate, lonely, and abused, not crazy herself.
The really depressing part is that in the current timeline Sakura has managed to get back to being with Yume because of the swap, and she's basically been chasing after someone like her own abusive mother this whole time. That's so freaking sad.

who is weI hate to say it but the most I've been able to relate to another character here is that random mob character who got told to fuck off. Given I'm here for the ride of literal gay maxing through some weird soul swapping magicks, the reality of the matter really is we're that guy. Hes not particularly fat, nor particularly skinny, the bangs don't quite make h-protagonist, and his function is utterly banal.
The short painful introduction of this mob character was really only to serve Sakura's mental state, and simply put that is all this man will do even if he were to continue existing outside the context of the story. Thats all most of us will ever be, not even a significant factor to most readers, the characters we interact with, just literally nothing. All just to serve someone else's life narrative better. I need a drink I'm having another existential breakdown.
