it's unlikely for the Japanese to win no matter what they do once Germany surrender their fucked. unless they get nuke faster than the Americans they have no chance.

If he wants Japan to win he needs to go further down the timeline and make sure Japan doesn't close their borders and have similar technology with the colonial powers during the age of colonialism heck that alone will not give them the disadvantage on the trade deals with America when they were forced to open their borders.

@sssr I tried asking in the forum for exact word search(old batoto had this) but they said no need cause they will make specific pages for each author/artist that was last year lol.

I mean making an exact word search is a lot easier than making individual pages for each author/artist but what do I know.

Ok i dunno what the author was thinking but...
He does know if japan wins... Japan would have screwed the whole asian contenent right?

And that means more comfort women and more stuff...

But even if japan did win the Pacific war....
USA would still say fuck it...
And go kamakaze with the nuke...

My opinion

One does wonder what the author thinks Japan would do if it "won"—that is, if it got America to back off and leave the budding Japanese colonial empire and Pacific theatres alone (rather than the economic sanctions and other "soft" power the U.S. was employing before the war, which Japan felt was throwing off its groove I guess, or at least the chest-puffing hyper-nationalists did? Or something like that).

I suppose the lazy way out for a historical-fiction writer is to have the pacific conflict neatly end before the A-bomb comes into play, let Germany fall, let the Japanese empire stand, and not dwell too much on how bloody awful they'd be to their colonies.
