BEING FAT AND UGLY AND SOMEHOW STILL MAKING MONEY OFF SELLING YOUYOURSELFπ€£π€£π€£π€£πππππππππππ
SHUT UP CLOWNWhy do you all keep feeding the loser troll, he has been doing this since the last few chapters.
Had ignored him long time ago (using the forum function), but he keeps appearing on my screen because you all quoted him lol
THIS MANGA IS TRASHOK, I'll bite.
How is this garbage? In 9 chapters Asano has established a world with an interesting premise (human rights are not extended to the population at large and the titular mujina have become countercultural icons) and three characters with clear motivations: Ubume is after the tanuki who stole her freedom, Juno is the bumpkin escaping small-town life for the big city in search of freedom and self-expresiveness, and Terumi is a jaded middle-aged man estranged from his family looking for connection. It's clear the story will explore their dynamics as found family from now on.
I look forward to reading this every month and find Asano tackling social, economic and political subject matter such a breath of fresh air. I know the vast majority of manga readers are here for the power fantasies and escaping reality, but every now and then it's great to see the medium catering to the old farts, however heavyhanded some may find it.
That said, you don't have to like this story. You may find it doesn't cater to your interests. But as it is, your statement about it being garbage is needless hyperbole and factually wrong. Seeing as you haven't even argued your position and are by all lights a random amateur, your statement about anyone being able to write this is also wrong.
Do better.
AND IF YOU DO LIKE HIS COMMENT THEN DON'T REPLY, I DON'T KNOW WHY PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN TELL OTHERS WHAT 2 DOIf you don't like it, simply just don't read it. I don't get why people force themselves to read something they clearly don't enjoy lol
IT WAS DISGUSTINGwhat the actual fuck did tenko say to ubume. was pretty inspiring
I ALREADY AM AND IT'S 400 TIMES BETTER THEN THIS FEMINIST TRASH MANGA"any random amateur could have written this" so do it
Yeah, I agree. The gratuitous yet shallow philosophizing is an Asano trademark and a drag. I'm also getting annoyed by the amount of serious space given to Terumi's quasi-fascist ramblings while all the other politically and philosophically inclined characters are treated as idiots (e.g., the media talking heads, the young woman at the game company defined solely by her tits). As per his usual preachy mangas go, this one is one of his better ones, even if he is still dancing around the edges of the core issue that is state policy and public funding in relation to health-care and the cost of living, which is frankly the weakest aspect of the whole thing
mujina continues to be garbage, any random amateur could have written this chapter

Otherwise, great chapter
quasai fascist
The occasional implication of Terumi's rambling is that the universal dispensation of human rights has weakened society and the human characterLMAO
to amerimutts apparently everything is fascist nowdays? lmao even the most blatant neo liberal apologist defense is somehow LE FASCISTA REEEEEE
the point is that the unistatisan neo-liberal empire has destroyed society as we know it and people all over the world are suffering and are now lashing out in the 21st century at ghosts and finding their own boogeymen to blame, whether foreign countries like china or russia, women, other specific ethnicities, the rich, globalist cabal (which ironically is themselves), the opposing parties, the non existent communist influence carried from the cold war, and the jews which ironically could be true if its zionist they are talking about and more,The occasional implication of Terumi's rambling is that the universal dispensation of human rights has weakened society and the human character
Ones of the greatest conundrums of manga fandom. If you don't like it, simply just don't read it. I don't get why people force themselves to read something they clearly don't enjoy lol
