ITP: some people expect way too much world building from what seems like is going to be a simple SoL story with some ecchi elements.
Geez dudes, would it really make the story better spending ch. 0 explaining how he got the inheritance, how he's a huge geek that's been immersed in fantasy stuff all his life, and why he's quirky enough to do hand water but not "true naturist" enough to go without electricity?
The premise is unrealistic enough, I don't think going to great lengths to explain it like a Light Novel would would make this any better. Why not just enjoy the elf reverse isekai and/or keep reading the other two out there if this one isn't fitting your vibes?

That'd be a great point if the pacing wasn't completely fucked (and the dialogues btw). Chapter one should've just been MC coming to his island explaining his situation a bit and then encountering the elf. Could've ended when he discover her. Could've ended after they understand they are from different worlds (though, given how the characters give no fucks about it...). Could've ended when they got to the home. Could've ended just before the elf makes magic (Does magic work in this world ? See next time in...).

@Jeirien I think you're seriously misjudging just how much money he needs. I just found an island for USD 74,914.87. That's cheaper than most homes. The house he had on the island was relatively modest. It looks like it's primarily wood construction so he could have had it built for $75,000-150,000 depending on some of the amenities. The boat, while large and fancy, isn't yacht class. So he probably spent another $150,000-$200,000.
So take all of the largest numbers here, add it up and convert to Yen and you get roughly 46,782,000.00 (Rounding up to keep it simple). Break that down into 10,000 Yen notes and you get 4,679 individual bills . You can easily fit that into a suitcase if it's fresh bills that are wrapped and organized. Otherwise a small duffel bag would also do it.
This is just the amount if would cost to buy the stuff of course, but even if you double the amount it could still fit in a duffel and he'd be able to live quite comfortably on his island for a long time if he gets the hang of hunting, fishing and some basic farming.

The art is pretty great. The setup isn't horrible. You have a guy
who won the lotto and decided to retire on an island someplace. One day when walking around he finds some girl in caveman clothes who has elf ears on his island in a bad way. He decides to help her recover. So far, so good.
The first iffy part is him not having a huge reaction to her being an elf, or her magic. I get that criticism, I wonder if it's because they skipped or have downplayed the stuff in the above spoiler. Basically, does that unmentioned thing cause him to be like "whatever" when finding out about magic? Is this bad writing, or just a characterization point we missed because of bad pacing?
I'm gonna read the WN shortly via MTL (hopefully someone picks it up) but the possibly incorrect spoiler above --

Basically the JP sites describe it as a comfy silly story about a naive middle age (30? middle aged? Ow) guy and a "wandering elf" whose mannerisms from her world cause him a lot of (lewd) grief.
In other words: Fam, it's not that deep. Come for the cute elfgirl, stay for the cute elfgirl.

Japan has high real estate cost and different cost of living. I search for your island example which is 54.56 acres which is 220,796.49 Square Meters. Cost of living in Japan is high , buying and apartment(not rent) outside city center is 475,763.88 yen per square meter
That island would cost 105 046 994 773 yen (105 billion) which is 10,504,700 10000 yen bill(if the island is within japan territory. That amount of 100 dollar bill is 1 billion dollar. Even the lowest that I search 300,000 per square meter which is around 66 billion.
