I started reading it when the oneshot came out and sticked around for only 4 chapters, I was expecting something with a somewhat heavier focus on sci-fi but it felt more like a standard rom-com, as interesting as the premise was it didn't seem like it'd be anything more than a set up.
Or at least that's what I remember thinking back when I read chapter 4 (~10 months ago).
You got to be shitting me.
I am a triple layered chocolate shitcake of mad.
1) What the fuck was the point of those chapters that meandered?
2) Why the fuck couldn't the editor allow him to tie a better end? Were they gonna go bankrupt if they paid him for 3 more chapters?
3) Why would I look forward to any of his future work after the kick in the shin here?
------------
4) Why of all the works that blew their interesting premise to rely on tropes, this one had to be axed?
5) If I had a nickle for everytime a Manga with a scifi premise with a cool one-shot in 2024 was unfairly axed early in 2025 I would have 2 nickles. (The other was Otona ni Narenai Bokura wa).
This is why my list of shit to read only when is done is hundreds of titles long.
If the author loved what he made, I think he should at least try to tie things together.
But yea im not surprised, this had an interesting premise, but i feel like the author didn't know where to go. Cus it was a good oneshot, but sometimes its better to let a oneshot be a oneshot and not try to expand it too much
bro, seriously, this is ends? where offcial couple ? where dating ? where proposal? where wedding? where seggs scene? where happy ending with children? what kind ending is this, you fuck, axe-kun
