Honestly not feeling too badly about this one. Mangaka had an amazing concept but forgot to plan out the story. Developments were random and very hand-wavy, and if it had continued the chances are that it would still have left us unsatisfied.

Jogo will disappear momentarily from their world for causing such an anomaly, back in that deep ocean place. We'd get some sort of backstory of how both Jogo saved the goddess girl in both timelines, probably in the form of an animal, and that the death of the Jogo from the other world caused her deep pain. That soul of the dead Jogo and the goddess girl help him rewrite his world, so that their worlds collide into one, and it turns into the world where the "Miyato twins" exist.
