I feel like the oneshot concept of the original being aware of what was going on from the outset was more interesting than this, especially when the rules of this erasure are so weird.
And most of all, choosing alt reality main girl is just a shitty thing to do when you consider the original has no control over any of this. Unless alt has no idea about the erasure, it's also fairly shitty of her to want to stay, unless the erasure is fakeout, or there's a convenient "just choose both" option that somehow works.

Honestly, it's kind of cruel of the alternate reality version of her to stay here, knowing that only one of them can exist. She could have just let things go on naturally without even revealing herself to him, but now she's forced him to feel guilty about choosing one of them.
I think it's a bit much to call a child "cruel" for not simply resigning herself to non-existence.

Should plow them both and impregnate them. I'm sure the World will see other world girl as a permanent resident if she has his child.

Thanks for the TL

Every time I read this, I pray it goes similar to the direction of that other manga where the girlfriend splits into different personalities and the MC determined to keep them all.

Losing heroine is one thing but this seems like it's gonna punch you in the guts and leave you screaming, kicking.

I updated the font to be more consistent with Skythewood (I honesty don't know why I used some essay font), if anyone notices any errors, just lmk & I can fix it later.

I think this manga is using an idea from a sci-fi show I’ve watched before and altered how it works.

From Stargate SG-1, There’s a concept called entropic cascade failure. This happens when multiple versions of the same person are existing in the same reality. Eventually as time progresses, the non-native ones will suffer issues and eventually die as the host reality is actively rejecting them. This does not happen if said person was already dead and another version from another reality showed up. In this case it seems MC has to choose for some reason.

Now from how I’m seeing it. Author is using this, altered how it is employed and expanded it to also affect items relating to the Sui that doesn’t belong to this reality. Anything that she’s bought that will directly be linked as hers, will be forcibly deleted from the reality. Since reality itself is rejecting her existence.

Reality itself has basically only given him two options. Sui from the alternate reality disappears, not sure if this means she’s erased or ejected back to the alternate reality. Or, reality corrects the issue and kills off the Sui that belongs to this reality in order to allow the other Sui to exist. And if we’re following the earlier concept, it’s trying to erase the alternate Sui first.

Basically they both can’t exist in the same reality at the same time.
That's a good explanation, but it doesn't explain how MC could make a choice that matters, even if he did decide to.

Unless it's up to him to kill the Sui he doesn't choose, but I'm sure the manga wouldn't go there.

It's a cruel setup, but nobody here is acting cruelly. That's how tragedy works.

As far as I'm aware, there's nothing indicating that she couldn't just go back to her original universe now that she's saved him. In fact, I'm pretty sure "disappear" just means that she'd be going back to her own world here.

So I don't think I'm wrong in saying it's cruel of her to make him choose between which version of her gets to stay here in his universe when she really shouldn't be here in the first place, especially if she's basically asking him to kill her counterpart from this universe.

Right, thank you for pointing that out. I went back to my PS file and saw that the text box accidentally cropped it out. It should be correct now!
Hey, thanks for picking this one! Just a small request, if you've got a discord server. Please let me know because I wanna keep in touch with whoever is doing the translation since I run a dedicated sub I want to know when the new translation is up. And if you need help, I can lend a hand. Only problem is I don't own a pc so maybe I won't be of much help, but I'm just letting you know!
