The Sorceress was playing around with explosion magic, as you do, and destroyed half the island. How they managed to pin it on Univas is left as an exercise to the reader.Did they even say what the heroes did here? It was just "You destroyed half the island! Now the spirits hate us!" "The spirits fucking LOVE me" "Well shit, sorry." and never went into how the island actually got destroyed
Yet here you are post reading it.everything about this manga literally pisses me the fuck off, from art style to minor intricacies
To the best of my understanding, Gottsvan was leading the artifice magifactory that was producing all the magitech devices. Univas would build things, and Gottsvan would use his position to rebrand and sell them. This went on for years. This chapter really went out there. It continues the idea that somehow every spirit was told that Univas was dead yet the spirits in the capital knew for sure he was alive but didn't tell any other spirit. Univas made the artificial islands but somehow every brick had Gottsvan's name on it? Did they unbuild the islands to carve Gottsvan's name into every brick? How did the brick spirits even get told Univas was dead when they can't talk to anyone and only Univas can hear their voice?
Then we got Univas is an actual insane person. The block spirits just 'wanted to help humans' that's why they tried to starve the humans to death because they were mad?! Univas thinks it's fine to not be recognized as long as the spirits are happy but EVERYWHERE they've gone the spirits are mad as hell about how he specifically is being treated.
Giant Whale is just a Blue Whale and that's great.

Agree, this one is very interesting tidbit. Usually a story where emotions could control weather is anchored to our female heroine, like "Lady Whose Emotions Change the Weather", but this time it's in our boy. Also, he just bent the iron metal with his finger, bruh.Never thought I'd give this story any credit, but I find it interesting that Univas deliberately controls his anger and emotions, because it could cause giant calamities if he didn't.
Univas have to make Internet Spirit first so that every spirit will be connected to each other and communicate lmao. Tho, the wind spirits should have already spread the message that he's still alive everywhere. Guess they only told the marriage candidates about him being alive lmao.To the best of my understanding, Gottsvan was leading the artifice magifactory that was producing all the magitech devices. After his time adventuring with the Hero and before Univas was fired, they started spreading the rumor amongst the greater spirits that he had died. iirc this was to convince the different elemental spirit princesses that Univas wanted them to marry the Hero.
No clue why the lesser spirits thought he was dead though. One would have thought that they would have been part of the magitech creation process... -shrug-
