At one point, I liked this manga. I guess I keep reading because I want it to redeem itself. But it’s basically just become “let’s surround the very few likable characters with complete human garbage and make everything around them constantly suck.” And just rinse and repeat that formula over and over and over again. (It doesn’t help that it seems like the number of people in this world that aren’t complete trash can be counted on your fingers.)

She is the kid the MC saves in the alleyway on chapter 34.
@Darketower
Isn't it more that this arc is showing the effects of the MC changing the scenario by taking the Hero's growth?
Overall the world is not a nice place and the things the MC is doing are just the type that "bad people" would be attracted to.
I get how the MC got to the kid so fast but how'd the bandit who got his face kicked in get there? He just got done beating his ass out of sight of the small child.
Now after using MC's OP sprinting (and mind you still being too late to help) bandit he just left in the dirt is suddenly in sight doing magic.
This story sure has taken a downward spiral.
You know, item boxes come up a lot in these sorta stories, but one question never gets answered.
What happens to the items in said boxes when the person with the skill dies?
Is it like Borderlands, where you kill them and it bursts out like a pinata?
@onipuck they literally said it in this chapter. When the user dies the stored items are scattered around the dead users body.
I just went back and checked and its on page 6 if you want to see it for yourself
Lillith continues to be a stupid character, why would you leave a little girl alone when they have an item box killer targeting all the caravans...... Stupid for drama writing I delayed reading more of this for ages to have a big chapter buffer and in only a few chapters I remember why I thought it was so poorly written.
