While the material property mentioned is the correct one for "something that can survive a beating without breaking", it's also not something diamond is known for (natural diamond being ~2 in the units used, whereas aluminium oxide - e.g. corundum, or ruby/sapphire - is around 3-5. Most metals apparently go straight into multiple tens).

I was just coming here to comment about how one thing I'm really annoyed by with the story's direction is that they introduced a couple of fun character designs with the familiars, and now they're just... not here anymore? Like, the only one that kind of shows up is Matty, who's the the least fun of the five.
