This was interesting during the sword arc but now it's just getting ridiculous

@Mirazu On page 23 the word "academies" is misspelled. At this point Arel may as well be some kind of teacher's assistant or be a teacher for each academy. Thanks for the chapter.

@kirby_422 he knows the basic, how to read the formulas and comprehend them, so by now the school setting is just a waste of time, he could just read the formulas and explanation from a book and get them by himself. the advance could means he could read more advance formulas, he don't need a teacher to teach them one by one.

How does a mixup like that even happen...? It was obviously just to emphasize how much stronger he is, but without us really knowing how much stronger the minotaur was, it doesn't really add anything. The chapter would have been the same without that happening, really.

He's studying magical formulas, but there is a lot you can learn from hands-on training as well as lectures. It's the same for our world. You'd be surprised how many industries rely on handed down information. Hell, my old company is a pretty technical manufacturing facility, but if it were to lose about 3 key people, they'd have to get the contractor that originally built the specialized machines we use and then spend a month guessing their way towards how everything works.

It allowed both the professor and the haughty student to have a better lower-bound for his strength, as well as learn that he can redirect his magic (since the normal Minotaur didn't seem to jump)

@sakaay Being born to parents that had a very high rank in both Swords (Mother) and Magic (Father), the system doesn't have a rank for people that have the ability to do both, thus giving him the only class that includes both Magic and Swords, Classless.

TL;DR: He doesn't have a cheat.

I prefer the effort route, life shit on him but he didn't take it lying down, and found out he doesn't need to have a class to use the skills, it's just having the class makes it easier.

This guy can medidate under a rock and come out a legendary grand demi-god wizard. Only reason he's going to school is because he needs an audience, lol.

@alidan Well, even if you have the class required, if you don't put in the effort, you won't amount to jack shit. I took the long way to say that he doesn't have a cheat :)

This is getting kinda tedious; where's the fun if there's no challenge? Or feelings...
Still, thanks for the chapter.

There really never has been much challenge since he left for the first city. At least not shown. This isn't looking like one of those stories. Basically it looks to be one where MC is OP, but only because he is doing something different than what is considered "normal". By all means, possibly everyone could be where he is if given the opportunity. But because everyone believes the talent lies in the class, they don't even try.

The author could have easily had the minotaur dodge his attack...it just didn't need to with the other guy. It really didn't add anything to the chapter.

I love that the kids here see him as a super strong big brother that they all want to be like someday. The sword town was more of a , revive the guild of his mother to its former glory + tournament arc. Magic town almost seems like a harry potter(not just because magic) story, where it starts off innocent and friendly, and then he will uncover some kind of conspiracy or dark element within the school through his studies, and do sick magic stuff to kill it . This is more like a casual OP MC story. Not really much of a challenge or incredible excitement, but its a pretty easy and light read, with good enough art to keep me coming back every time a new chapter drops

It adds nothing for the reader, yes. But like I said, it lets the teacher know he's stronger than he could have shown with the previous Minotaur, due to the increased amount required to finish it.

Sure about the dodging thing, that was just an extra point.

it shows the teacher is recognizing his effort,a nd possibly the others too, which is a good thing for him (for the most part).....

but them it leaves us with the question of... after the magic school art... what then? XD iot better be a journey around the world or something ...
