Pretty sure the entire point people are making is that they stopped posting to funnel ad revenue off mangadex to their site, which basically left the manga abandoned as far as most people were concerned. If you don't understand what's going on, stop yapping and get off your imaginary high horse.
Mods has to judge weather they broke rule 1.8. But if mods allow it then why can't there being two or more translation uploaded? There is a function in MD that allows you to switch between groups. So let people that like their translation more read it, it's not that big of a deal imho.

And it is not certain they will continue translating anyway, so you should relax.

These two big translator groups reminds me of the battle between Hitogami vs Orsted, full of influence flexing.

On here, yeah, so I can manage the MangaDex uploads. I have no involvement in the MT scanlation whatsoever.

Which I got from the actual owner, since no one was uploading to MangaDex (hence a year of missed MT chapters here, which I've now rectified). The only thing I work on with PO2 is Ao Ashi (which team might as well be its own separate group at this moment) which we never stopped uploading here, I have no involvement in any other project.

I totally understand everyone's sentiment about not uploading here etc, but you're barking up the wrong tree. I have nothing to do with this series in any way. 😅 I just wanted to make sure none of the scanlation work was lost. I think everything should be archived on MD, no matter the quality/morals of the group.
I just thought your statement was weird considering you are listed as the leader, but you have cleared it up. I have no strong opinion on the upload, I wouldn't make the comment if I hadn't seen the comment.

Thanks for the uploads. Translation quality is superior imo, smoother and more context. It's understandable to try to generate revenue, as donations can be unreliable, but reliable donations go to reliable groups. It's tough regardless, so thanks for the effort to bring this series to so many of us.

Not saying this to be an ass hole, but scans groups shouldn't be trying to make money off of titles that they have no legal right to distribute. They run the risk of getting their nuts nailed to the walls if an outfit like SquareEnix or NIS America (just to name a few examples) takes note of their activity.

Doing it without asking for donations or trying to profit by way of advertising revenue gives them less reason to go after someone. (It won't offer complete protection, but it's a sort of moral fig leaf to cover their metaphorical asses with.)

I don't care who does what, I was just clarifying for someone who didn't understand what was going on but popped off at people. Same thing to you, if you don't get what's going on stop yapping and stop telling people what to do.
