A pair of 2+ stopped to upload this manga to MangaDex after chapter 87.
Orsted Corporation took it over, and provided us with quality translation.
Now A pair of 2+ started to upload here again, like nothing happened, like they would not have let us down for more than a year.

Reminds me when someone decided to try to upload a newest chapter of the Shadow in Eminence, then everyone decided to bully it out of mangadex because it is apparently snipping from the proclaimed "group with consistent release schedule" that has no consistent release schedule and hasn't done the chapter even after 2 weeks. What a dumb mob mentality.
Except A Pair of 2+ is a group that is known to try to snipe popular manga. And restrict uploads to Mangadex.

Except that it's a curtesy to NOT do it if there is a consistent release schedule and the pages and translation is of a reasonable quality.
No, there is no definitive rules for it, but it's an honor among thieves situation. The ones that start posting a series that is already being translated is the ones trying to start drama, not the ones that call them out on it.
A pair of 2 were the sole uploaders of this series for quite a while, then they just disappeared from mangadex. Orsted came along a bit later, and were the uploaders since. Then AP2 came back. Someone mentioned they lost their website which was where they were still uploading this series. Don't know if it's true or not, but they've been uploading here again since that supposed loss.

No such rule exists. Pure headcannon. Again any group can and should work on whatever they want. Scanlation isn't an exact science so there's more than enough leeway for different attempts to exist and be appreciated for what they are. Also LOL @ implied ownership over other people's copywrited material. LOL. LMAO even.

It's like you didn't actually read what I put in my comment. I even said that there is no rules for it. There CAN'T be any rule for it...
It is a CURTESY to not do it. Not once did I say anything about ownership. Try actually reading what people say before you try and snap back with shit noone said.
And having a dozen different translations for the same work just gets confusing for the readers. As long as the one doing it regularly is making it readable and the translations accurate, the just is simply no need for anyone else to do it. It would be better suited for everyone, reader and translation group, if they simply joined together to increase the rate of release and quality of translation rather than sit there and work separately to show basically the same thing repeatedly.

Again, that's YOUR headcannon. People can choose to read or not read whatever they want. Just as scanlators can choose to scanlate or not scanlate, upload or not upload whatever they want. Having to "ask for permission" out of a sense of "courtesy" implies ownership. We're all FANS here, including those who contribute to this fan community by going out of their way to clean, translate, edit, typeset & redraw entire chapters of manga for other fans in the community to enjoy. To dunk on someone's effort just because hurr durr it confuses people who thought they were going to get a new chapter is beyond rudeness. Check yourself and show some goddamn manners.
It's funny you call it manners when the same could be said to the ones that are picking up a series that is already being translated and just disregarding the work they have already done due to the selfish though of "I just wanna do it". If a series has regular updates, quality scanilations and translations then there just isn't a point in picking up that series. Pick up another one that isn't being done or has subpar scans/translations. That's the best way to contribute to the community rather than making another version of something that's already done.
It doesn't imply ownership at all, it implies that you respect that the other group is already doing the work you are considering doing. The readers are literally the most important part of the damn process, without the readers, there's no point in even doing the work in the first place, or at least there's no point in releasing it. If you are making it more difficult for those readers to decide which version to read, you are just being detrimental to the whole process. Many new readers will just pass on a series if they see many different versions of it because they don't know which is which.
Yes, a person or group can do whatever they want. Noone will argue that point because there is no argument for that point. But it's also not really contributing anything either if multiple people are doing the same series. Maybe try and understand something from more than one point of view before you start lashing out at people for trying to put a little order in the potential chaos.

Nobody but the copywrite holders own the series. Period. We're all fans here. Scanlators included. They have their own varying reasons for picking up/dropping series. It's not for leeches like you and me to nitpick or criticize someone who volunteers their valuable and limited free time to work on a chapter of scanlated manga.
Anyone who comes into a thread and says "hurr durr I thought this was a new chapturrrrrr. y u rls dis? r u stoopid??? hurr durrrr" deserves a boot to the face.
Anyone who would pretend they have the right or authority to fucking micromanage what a scanlator should be doing with their own fucking free time deserves a boot to the face.
Again, you and me - leeches, just here for the free manga. If someone is taking their own free time to work on something, even if it's something a thousand other groups are doing, at least they are contributing to the community. People who would shit on that should learn some fucking manners.
