I tried watching the anime to get ahead, but I just don’t have the time and find reading the manga more enjoyable out of habit.

At this point, since they can't adapt everything anything from the LN all at once, the manga is here to complement the anime and vice versa. But since the anime is ahead the manga, to enjoy it the most is watch the anime first and then read the manga later.

Oh, I haven't watched yet though I read the novels... I guess they really wanted to cock-tease! Well, I guess they want a new season's budget for the tactical nuke Rudeus drops.

latest episode of the anime already at LN vol 15 ch 3 , the manga still at LN vol 13 (with some different chapter order) with 3 chapter left to adapt

most major LN title with monthly manga adaptation and anime adaptation had the anime ahead the manga counter part now IIRC, like tensura, mushoku tensei, apothecary diaries, even shield hero

I imagine the people in the manga world are like the Japanese wherein their sweat doesn't smell. So, I would assume it would be their normal odor concentrate soaked into their clothes.

Anime made that easy, it really took her another year to beat Isolde in the novel.

Also, Eris had abandoned her Boreas name. So her introduction was simply Eris Greyrat, either keeping her old surname or taking Rudeus's. Either way it is weird that the manga still kept Boreas.
