I'll say this:
Are the chapters getting shorter? No.
Does it feel shorter? Yes.
I would attribute it to the 2-3 pages with panels and no/minimal dialogue.

BUT.

It does give the intended impact. And it delivers the intended emotions.

Remember that those "dead" spaces are the literal visualisations of Rudy's thoughts and memories. And that this is a very emotionally loaded point for him. He's seeing himself, from the view of an outsider.

Edit! The pages I'm referring to are pages 19 and 20. I do have gripes about page 14 being mostly unnecessary but you win some you lose some.

My uncle family has the same problem with their youngest daughter. I'm not really close with them, So I don't know if they manage to fix it or not.

I doubt that plays any concrete role anymore. It has been an excuse for her to not get close to Rudy, but isn't her anguish due to a lack of self-confidence and an abundance of self-pity? Aisha is a genius, no matter how you look at it, and she has been tormenting the not-genius Norn since the beginning. Rudeus isn't a genuine genius, per se, but he's as much of an apparent genius as one could be. He was never a real child in that world, thus mastering everything very young, plus, by coincidence, he has a godly mana pool, silent magic casting, and such. So, from Norn's point of view, the big brother is another unreachable genius. I don't believe Norn's problems are any more or any less than this, though I suppose the next chapters will tell the truth.

Mushoku Tensei is really a well done story. Wish Isekai stories stop choosing mediocre way and get inspired by Mushoku Tensei instead.

It paid off in the novel. It paid off a lot it made me drop tear of manliness.
The manga pacing Is just too unbalanced imo.

Imagine being so influential in the progress of the world that some of the world thinks you are an organization.

Making condoms, breaking the common sense of magic power capacity, making automatons, singlehandedly furthering the potential of sculpting, making multiple international organizations that are influencial in both security and art, etc etc.

It's a good thing that the LN is still ongoing, so we might see more of his adventure before he dies of old age.
