They don’t really know each other even though they’re brother/sister, so the only info Norn has about Rudy are of all his accolades, how amazing and smart he is that she has heard from other people and this inflated image of him is keeping her in his shadow. What Rudy needs to do is talk to her, so she gets to know the real him instead of this image he has built up because he is far from perfect. Maybe if she heard about his problems and his past mistakes he could become a bit more relatable and build up the relationship from there.
As for Rudy he hinted at it a bit in this chapter but he should learn what she is interested in, does she really want to learn magic? or is there something else she could do? which could also get her away from the comparisons to her brother.
Regardless I’m looking forward to seeing how it’s resolved, the psychological/interpersonal aspect of the manga is just as interesting as the adventuring to me, goes to show just how important character building is.
