This series becomes more disappoiting... is it the same in the novel? Honestly it all would have been so much more interesting, if Rudeus after having his heart broken, strived to reach a completely new level of magic, and became colder and darker abandoning all emotions for training magic and killing the "Dragon God" as if finding a ventil for his underlying Wrath and Pain.

And when entering randoa academy, he already reached such a ridiculous high level of magic that it will make anyone and anything look like a joke against him.
It would also make his interactions far more interesting with all the people around him, while also letting this dumb joke about his impotence out while anyone has sex around him. (This feels more like the author being jealous and wanting to vent it on the mc in the first place...)
