It's finally getting an anime adaptation.
Looks like they are going to make a serious work not another rushed cheap production.

But the PV is basically "hey look it gonna be great", they put a lot of random scene. I remember getting hyped af for Goblin Slayer and the anime was really disappointing. Hope it's not happening for this.

I have low expectation on every anime adaptation rn.
But TUEEE got a great anime adaptation.

bro ,you dont have a fucking clue.I even read the web novel. Our MC does the following things:

Masturbates on his parents funeral day

gets turned on seeing raped and injured girls

Even having perverted thoughts about his mother.(if it was the maid,i would have forgiven him)..
it gets worse later on.
Everything is toned down in manga.But i dont want anything to do with mushoku tensei,since i have read web novel.The original author have a sick mind(may be too much porn got in his head).

On a side note (I don't have anything to prove, just sharing an observation)

The whole funeral thing is criticized. MC is meant to be an ass who was given a second chance. Imo the story is about him learning to be a decent human being.

Considering who mc used to be, his reaction towards his mother is believable. It is all about the context though, and if this story had a more serious undertone I don't think I would be comfortable with his attitude.

As for liking the mc, then to each their own? It's just a flavor thing and I never really said anything about it.

Oh look, are we in a section to discuss about books? Literary works? No shit, sherlock, it is about manga, part of the anime/manga art/media.

99% of the people here, even the ones who forget it, come here because enjoy the VISUAL/STORY art called manga, and most also because the AUDIOVISUAL/STORY art of animation.

Where is the Novel thing around it? Nowhere. Novels are mostly shitty books that become more known and more apreciated when converted from story text to something very DIFFERENT that is a story focused in the visual art.

So, nobody really cares when a Novel fan starts to compare or complain "how the manga adaptation become poor and cuted", since they are different media/art, and, as i said, for the people here, it is respected for the manga (or anime), not the source.

In fact, Novel hardcore fans are just "useful" to a single thing: telling fuc* spoilers. Great job.
