I don't listen to anything while reading, but sometimes l listen to my playlist of anime opening songs, and it gives me a nostalgia buzz every time.

I personally recommend not listening music while reading.

I sometimes listen to my spotify liked songs while reading,
but it is mostly brimmed with EDM
so it is often "out of context" on what I am currently reading.

Imagine listening to some Hard Techno or phonk while reading an hentai, it is just out of the context.

So, I know of this one music genre called Extratone, really soothing and goes well with most mangas. (Actually don't)

I always play BGMs. Ofcourse, I also adjust what kind of BGM I listen to depending on the genre I'm reading.

I only listen to music for rereading (not reading new chapters) and when I feel like it.

Relaxing Gran Turismo Music is my go-to music for most things.
