I would very much suggest using the alternate version of No. 15 (Mephisto) - the primary has a considerable amount of distortion baked into the track.

Finally finished voting for this group. =w= Sad to see Innosense Zestiria not getting many votes. It's such a good song, though. I'm not sure why Sugar Song and Party are so popular, either. They aren't bad songs, by any means, but they are just not among the best 8 in this group to me. I went back and forth between Reverb and Filament for my last vote. Both are good, but the latter is just slightly better. One Piece song didn't impress me.

Newer anime songs will have a comparatively lesser chances of getting votes because people of forum get Nostalgic as fuck when they listen to something like Los Los Los or Zetsubou Billy. It's not about technical superiority, it's about the emotions connected. So it's not that Mephisto is bad, but it's just that heart says Los! Los! Los! should be the one to win.

I haven't heard the Los song until this tournament, so nostalgia is definitely not a factor for me. It's simply a good song. Same for ZB. It's just a good song, despite being 20 years old.

Yep. I was wondering if it was just my speakers. Same thing on my phone. That really ruined the MV for me. Can't understand why they went with that. Still a good song, though.

I think it's more likely about attention span. Mephisto is at the bottom of this list. Your explanation makes a measure of sense, but I'd like to hear what the people in question have to say for themselves.

On the contrary, if I don't force myself to listen to all fifteen songs in one sitting, I won't remember to vote, or I'll procrastinate.
