That JUMPSCARE of the parents just lying there mangled was wild. No warning at all, no build up. Damn, it makes a lot of sense to see as a trauma to hit you suddenly and make a person emotional but wow.

Also, this conversation was kind of difficult to follow in terms of the highs and lows, but I’m excited to see what they could potentially accomplish. I know the elixir is the goal right now, but I hope it’s the first goal and not the ONLY goal.

it's not too out of nowhere, we knew parents died in the dungeon, but now we got confirmation it was from a divine boss/something along those lines, which sarah was bringing up in the convo. tho artist drawing the cropses rather than the covered ones like in ch.1 is a choice for sure lmao. It also fit with protag's reaction of immediately lashing out, since we're mostly in his POV.

Yea, the convo was a bit funky with eri jumping in every so often distrupting the flow of things, that + some art visuals throwing things all around (at least it's not just the table from a bunch of angles)

Actually, I felt that her declaration that she'll "Bet on her life" is a hidden skill she hides.

Feels like the least they could have done for the family of the parents was cover up the more mangled parts of their corpses with a tarp or something so that their kids don't have to see their guts just hanging about. That's just inhumane
