Suggesting that someone working as a cashier (that's her job, as seen before) is paying rent, utilities, food bills, and other expenses for a friend's family is nonsensical.
It's not only financially illogical, friends don't just live for the sake of paying all expenses of their stay-at-home wife friend and her baby.
Lorem is not working, as she mentioned she was a housewife.
Lorem's sister was not aware of her being a housewife, so she wasn't the one paying the bills.
Chii-chan is a cashier. She isn't and can't pay for the bills of a family of 2. It is also illogical.
There is a person paying the bills. Lorem did not make contact with the government (she had no certification to live with humans), therefore the government wasn't paying her bills either.
It is not Lorem's sister, Chii-chan, or the government paying her bills.
The only logical option is her yet-to-be-introduced husband.

No, because as far as I'm concerned, the translation is the only part that matters. TS? Cleaning? That's all fluff. All you really NEED to enjoy a manga are the Japanese tanks/raws and an English script. I only really do the rest (cleaning, typesetting, God-awful redrawing) to kill time.
Beyond that, I'd very much rather not deal with other scanlators. They're generally really childish and whiny, and more importantly, I don't want to bind myself to anyone else's schedules. I can generally clean, TL, TS a page of this series in 5-10 minutes, so roughly 1 hour per chapter. Then I can double check my work when I want and upload the finished chapters when I want. This freedom is fairly important.
I've seen TL scripts sit in limbo for months waiting for cleaners or redrawers or typesetters to finish their portions. Hell, I've seen typesetters and so-called "quality checkers" completely fuck my scripts into the ground 'cause they thought they were better at English than me. Forget that. (That being said, I've worked with some amazing and highly skilled people too, but they're few and far between.)
You can say "But Entropia isn't like that" or whatever all you want, but my answer is still no - I just don't want to.
If they wanted, Entropia could just use my scripts for their releases.
Not that they'd need my permission.
Actually, I outright refuse to give them permission.
We're all stealing from Zyugoya anyway, so they can "steal" the scripts from me if they want to use them.

@xxsaznpride I know you're doing this for free but like, what you're describing isn't good long term for some.
Like sure, great, you are translating fast, cleaning up pages decently and uploading real quick but I doubt some people have the liberty or financial freedom to just go at it and do stuff for free like how you do it.
Would be great if every group went out of their way to do translation gigs for free but you'd be crazy to expect quality or decent chapters from people without any incentive. As you said, you did the cleaning, typesetting and redrawing to kill time. Some people don't have that liberty or at least go into this hoping for a way to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, their hobby and getting paid on the side whenever possible.

personally, while i wouldn't say 'just a script and the manga' is all i need, it's almost the case. redrawing is nice, sure, but for me it's hardly the most important. TL (including non-sfx outside bubbles) and having the words in *generally* the right place is my primary concern. If it's a manga where the actual style and placement of text is important, sure that's different.
but if a series is sitting for weeks or months waiting on redraws or typesetting? i hate that kinda thing
