Just a cursory look at the comments and rating tells me that the characters are not better.

Man, this is rough. Something like that would lead to everyone being miserable.

Takumi would not be able to be with his love, making him miserable, and also doesn't like Miu romantically, meaning...
Miu wouldn't be with who she loves other, making her miserable and seeing the two people she loves most miserable making her even MORE miserable
and finally Ayako would surpress her feelings, making HER miserable.

She'd literally just lose Takkun in both of their lifes, because he already made it clear he loves her and not Miu, so why does she think he'd marry Miu just because she said so 😐

She has genuinely just been walking all over Takkun's feeling the entire manga so far
