I got bored during the movie production arc due to how slow it was going, skipped like 100 chapters to see if there was some progression to look forward to since I wasn't so invested to care about spoilers, saw that nothing moved forward and dropped it on the spot, I still read some comments to laugh about it after I heard about THAT pool chapter, but as far as I'm aware, they are still far from becoming a real couple, on the other hand these guys already confessed and are living together. Kuso-kari is bottom of the barrel and I pity any actual fan of the series.

Personally I find it refreshing as a result. I don't see any need to force it to be a story to placate horny male teens, which we have enough of already.
