Why do people go into works that clearly has elements they do not like or oppose, go into the spaces where those who do like it come to express themselves, and somehow establish themselves to be moral arbiters for what is right and wrong?
Over something that is a fantasy? Fiction? Absolutely Not Real Life?
Unlike certain unavoidable clashes that DOES HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE, works like this can be easily identified by those who actually read and understand what the work is trying to put down, and can be avoided by those who do not want to engage in them.
It is not like people are going out there, pushing people to read it, and to somehow like it right?
We are here, in a relatively small corner of the internet, enjoying manga being TL'd for free to English. It is done for the fans and hopefully by fans of these kinds of work. Where in there does it include having wannabe Moral Arbiters go into this space and act like people who read works like this would actually want to engage in intimate relations with a daughter/father/sister/brother/mother in real life?
It is the same fallacy of equating video games with real life violence. It is ignorant and should have stayed in the 1990's and early 2000's.
Will work like this be mainstream? Most certainly not. That is fine tho, anime/manga is big enough that there is space for something like this to exist and have its circle of fans who love it and support it. A work does not need to be something that the west gobbles up like cheeseburgers (ie One Piece) to be successful. It will have its fans; Let those fans enjoy what they enjoy and go do your own thing.

Wew. What is with these freaks really, going into places like this and acting like that, its really weird.
I binged this work and I was pleasantly surprised. I mean, I'm genre savvy enough to see the signs a mile away, so I wasn't surprised at all. It is just now a question on how This plot will develop and how much this MC would grow and adapt to what is going around him.
