I feel real bad for this guy. Everything and everyone in this manga is awful. I'm scared of what will happen in the next chapter. He's probably going to get boned and not the other way around.

this manga makes me feel really weird, I was not expecting a decent representation of stress, it would actually make sense at this point if she turned out to be something his mind made up because of a mental breakdown... fo she isnt but still I was expecting way less out of this work...

Very suspicious. Too smart for girl of her age (you must have personal expirience too understand those things about they talk). And she too easy goed to private room with adult man just becouse he is father of her friend. I maybe wrong but she has a plan.

i mean, the story purposefully leads up to this point
i think it's trying to show another side to the typical middle aged man escorting a high school girl (or compensated dating)
she's like the only light in his life right now, what with all the pressure from everyone else
plus the age of consent in japan is 16 or somethin
just hoping she's genuine..

@elefantine97 Yes, and no. The legal age of marriage for a girl in Japan is the bit that's 16, and that can negate it being "fornication" for the purposes of the child protection law that doesn't allow fornication with anyone under 18 nowadays.

But I think her parents might be against her marrying her friend's dad, so they likely wouldn't sign off on it and now the 18 thing is right back in place, since she can't legally get married without parental consent until she's 20.

Some of the prefectures might still have local laws putting the age of consent lower than 18 I guess, but it'd be the same situation as legalizing marijuana that's going on in the states right now, I think? The child protection law should be akin to federal law, while the prefectures would be state law level. In theory, you could still get busted for breaking the law in those prefectures because the child protection law would take precedence.
