Thank you for the translator for translating this manga.

I would assume the MC and the love interest is still having a relationship as a lovers in secret, probably waiting until her graduation. Mc and his daughter still gave a loose ends since she still couldnt decide to forgive his dad.

Love this manga, what hell of a ride.

I enjoyed it very much, even if I found the rape chapters kinda pointless, and the daughter was kinda useless too, but I liked that they did get together in the end, his life is probably going to take a while to get back to normal, but his parents did say that he could just assume the family business anyway, so it's all a matter of going there and starting anew, through just don't say at what age you met your young wife xD

Delayed gratification is the sign of a true adult. One that understands that having what one wants is not impossible, granted that you accept responsibility for what is needed to make it happen.

When it comes to love and relationships, there’s a time when people should just back up, like seeing character like koto smiling like that. No matter how “fcked up” some people love is, sometimes that’s exactly what they need, what they want, and who they are. Judging other people love based on your own standard of love is both asinine and selfish.

in the amazon comments the Japanese also don't know about the milk and the stolen moon but I suppose:
  • The milk she meant that she didn't just add a little but added a lot, making a reference to bitter coffee being life and milk being the sweetener
  • Praising the moon is the same as saying "I love you" so stealing the moon and putting it in your pocket is as if he is carrying their love in the chest pocket or heart

To the very end, this MC was nothing more than a sad excuse of a human being.
The guy should just blow his brains out; it would do the world a favor.

Oh well, at the very least this manga had some interesting highs, albeit the lows were harsh.

Anyway, a bit late, but thanks for the TL!

Such a good story man, I get so fucking invested that I has to read everything in 2 days, glad it ended as good as it can get because with all things that happened the ending could have been so much worse.

Thank you for your work translating this manga. I am surprised the story did not completely devolve into the utmost extreme. It makes me very happy to see a proper conclusion to such a drama. I like how not every detail of the side character's lives are filled in because it's about Kousuke's world. The wife's death is barely a footnote to the plot for example.

Here as promised, the final chapter! Hope anyone of you who held out for this one are happy about it! I took more time than usual to review it, I hope I didn't forget any detail, haha!
Thabks for the Translation. Great quality Great story imo. Realistic ending. Hoped to see a time skip, with them running the liquor store together, but I can't expect TOO good of an ending lmao.

Oh , so in the end she is a secret... So maybe when turns 18 they will date? Well anyways GG
Right. The fact of the matter is that they both held out for each other and didn't rush things (at the end). At the very least, he's not forcing her into a tough situation, where she can graduate at least, and he will continue to live his life day to day until the day hopefully happens.

So they decided not to get together then? Is that right?
Well, that's the secret. Clearly, they both love each other. She needs to graduate first before anything. He still has the liquor store, so they may go run it after she finishes school. But I'm just glad they just didn't go their separate ways, but also glad he didn't get absolutely obliterated in life.

wait what happened to her daughter
Nothing, shes just got a sore ass from sitting on the fence on whether she should forgive his father or not. Like anyone gives a fuck what she thinks, she was a thorn to everybody in this story.

It's win-lose situation.

Kousuke got his social/job life screwed but he can endure it because he has Koto waiting for him ready to shower him with love.
Koto mended things with her mother but will likely dump her to move in with Kousuke.

It's ironic how everyone showed some growth in their characters even Koto's mom did.
Everyone except Miya who remained an immature brat, and her future looks unstable as Misaki isn't happy with her grumbling every moment.
Kousuke getting some sort of consequence for his action is realistic; well, he didn't lose everything (certainly what we all expected to happen). He lost face, but still has his heart in the right place. Miya is just a useless character to the end. She managed to go back to school and found a friend who wants to do anal with her, but she's self-centred, and only thinks of her own feelings in the situation. Never cared or asked what the father was feeling or going through. But all in all, I'd say it's a fine ending, considering the high stakes.
