Just FYI: in English, you do not "bunker down;" instead, when one os ducking, while inside of a bunker, or when one forms a bunker....
They "hunker down."
In a bunker, you hunker.
Don't ask me why, cos I dunno; English is just goofy as fuck, sometimes.
And since English is a very goofy language, I thought I'd let you know that you hunker down when forming an impromptu bunker.

And then, there is "hunker-hauser," which is a game with ropes and logs, but that's just echosynomy...
