The way I could simmarize this is: Everything is a plot device. Everything is just as the plot needs it, everyone is just as dumb, smart or anything else as the plot needs it (for god's sake we didnt even see Mc use his abilty fully since the very first few chapters). This also includes the Mc, instead of the MC navigating the rules of the world, the rules of the world navigate the MC, while he navigates the plot devices. Sometimes he is extremely observant and smart, two pages (not even CHAPTERS) later he is as dumb as a collection of rocks, and that sounds like an insult to rocks.
The slapstick humor is pretty good on the short term but gets pretty old, basically the formula is: Mc does something waaaay out of common sense for serious reasons (like helping poor folk with selling/giving them matches) - Gets scolded because it is basically a death trap for him and the whole economy as it makes no sense - apologizes - three pages later it truns out he had a masterplan all along, like baiting out criminals with this - turns out he stull f*cked up and gets scolded again (he is also a dumbass except that one plan he had while doing it, so he genuinely has zero common sense too - rinse and repeat, acttually dont even rinse just repeat, it just stinks (especially because its fuelled by this dichtomy of both the MC and characters switching between Light Yagami and a crackhead behind a 7-11 in intelligence levels in the same chapters).
Still it is strangely entertaining, but it is the true definition of "this is slop", below average.
Also the author seems to have as much idea about their own rules and all other rules (like actual swordmanship, how guns work etc) as we, the readers. Which is zero.
The only upside tho, is that (minor spoilers)
the MC has a blickey in his pocket, which was way funnier than it should have been in that situation, altough it was also f*cked up by the author.
