I always start reading this kind of stuff because it's cute and the art looks really nice (well only the drawings of the main character actually) but then I question why I'm reading this when there's really nothing interesting happening. I used to like those things a lot more years ago, but maybe it was because only a few chapters were released so I only have memories of what I expected out of them. Now they bore me because those mangas don't really try to go anywhere.

A shame I'm not aware of anything that combines romance well with other elements to make a story (sometimes romance alone is fine if that alone can make a plot, but that's rare too). I do enjoy slices of life too actually, but I don't like it when it's only 3 pages long and then we just move on to a new element.

@Atzerkins I recommend "sweat and soap", if you like fluffy romance without unnecessary drama. A bit steamy, in case you're the type that thinks sex automatically disaqualifies wholesomeness. Also, chapter 1 rubs some people the wrong way, but give it a chance for 2-3 chapters.
