Your not elitist you're just dumb for thinking yuri only (or should only) constitute stories without sex, which seems to be the criteria you're mad at. Like, please pray tell why "lesbian smut" is different from yuri when it is presented as yuri, read as yuri, and seen as yuri by the audience. Also there is no set definition of "modern yuri", so of course people are likely not going to think it means what you think it does.

Reading this author's works just give me some severe anxiety, same goes for Shimura Takako's works too. Maybe some PTSD left from reading Octave. This first chapter actually made me want to read more, unlike her previous work. Also I really like the fact that the MC didn't question the other girl when she said she was looking for her GF. It's cool. But knowing the author, this is going to be another heavy ride. The second chapter will determine if I will continue reading this.
