The good thing about this manga is that it makes me feel great about myself, as I read every page thinking "have some self-respect, I would NEVER, EVER-" about every character's actions lol.

Like, why is Ai with Kon? She's clearly bored out of her mind (even beyond the ex-gf issues) and Kon is even starting to turn controlling. And why is Kon with Ai? Ai doesn't listen to a word she says, looks miserable to be with her and only thinks about her ex. And they're not even super physical with one another, so you can't even argue that angle.

It feels like a marriage of convenience, but they're not married and it's very inconvenient.

Anyway, thank you for the translation. This is still my favorite mess to read and I genuinely don't know how it's going to end.

At this point I just want Ai to have a proper talk with kaede...

Honestly kaede is just broken from her break up with Akane.
And clearly she likes the attention her husband and Ai are giving her.
And it's not because she's selfish.. or because she wants to be alive. Maybe some of them been a part why she did that but..

She's also been a supportive person. That's why I want them to fix this mess already.


We need to see the side of the husband too

While I can understand why it can feel like something controlling, but it is really not imo, that is just basic trust and comittment, Kon is not blind, Ai started getting weirder and distant after she took off the symbol of her love to her ex, someone she was ready to die with, so much she meant for her, she tried to ask for something that can put her mind at ease, to extinguish the dread that is rising in her heart, but Ai refused to block and delete her contact with that same ex, to do that is to show that she is commited to Kon, and won't just go cheat on her if Kaede give her one call, Ai already gone on a wild goose chase once from simple picture of scenery, to keep contact means to allow that to happen again. Kon was never enough for anyone, she felt like she became enough for Ai, and now she is scared that she will become not enough again. Ai have her own issues, she is not villain by any means and clearly she does not want to hurt Kon, but her actions now left an open heart wound that can and considering what story we read almost absolutely will lead to Kon doing worse things
