As it is, it doesn't look like the teacher taught Satou anything afterwards, he only gave her more problems to solve and went back to the office to drink coffee or whatever.

the teacher just leaving her plus the fact that they are going off on her in the first place, considering that she's been doing better recently and a pop quiz is a tool meant to assess how your students are absorbing the material on a regular basis without particular preparation so that you could rework YOUR OWN teaching methods and focus, I'm getting the impression that Satou's troubles might have more to do with a series of poor teachers trying to browbeat success out of their students than a personal failing on her part.

I feel that Satou is has ASD but it isn't said outright in the story, the teacher and entire staff should recognize it already, approaching the issue just like Yamaguchi did back when she was writing book report on Helen Keller (ch6) made her understand the issue and complete it.

Glad that Yamaguchi is determined to stay by her side no matter what, not like "net guy", hope she will fall in love just like him, just give it time.
