A dog shaped like a human would be abuse, since the dog just like a child doesn't has the mental equipment to confront whatever you throw their way, the power imbalance in favor of the owner makes things so that eventually they will say yes to their owners every whim, essentially grooming but worse since dogs are more obedient, dependent, and wont ever grow smart enough to realize that they were raised just to be fucked, and that's just plain evil

An adult human shaped like a dog, solves the psychological issues, and let's assume it is like that druid in BG3 who transformed into a bear, so that removes the limitations of a human that is stuck as a dog, however... doing a dog shaped human, is just gross

The solution is thus, a dog shaped like a human, with adult human intellect and education, this would be the least troublesome option, but there's probably factors I am not considering that could make this troublesome, for example the human shaped dog has to be a grown dog that you just met

Because depending of the relationship, for example if it is the family dog, it would be like having sex with either your sibling or offspring, it is a close family member after all
