I'm getting kinda tired of those "popular girl meet nerd" manga where romance goes absolutely nowhere, is it so hard for japanese author to write an ACTUAL romance? You know, not to end the manga once they finally are together, but instead keep going?

I think you guys are wanting too much of the romance. Imo, romance is a sub plot here. This manga is more of Gojou learning to accept himself and the fact that his love for making Hina dolls, sewing, and doing the cosplay stuff for Kitagawa isn't disgusting, and is perfectly normal. And of course the ecchi scenes.

Though the romance will probably start to come out more often now that Gojou is a bit more comfortable in his own shoes, and now that all of Kitagawa's friends are curious about them. I imagine that Non girl or whoever is gonna show up and ruin all the progress Gojou has made, only for Kitagawa to be his pillar of support...then boom, they're dating.
